The Great Baddow High School Annual Open Evening for prospective students and parents took place on Tuesday 24th September 2024.
School Tours
During September and October we offer daytime tours of the school for Year 6 students and their parents who are considering Great Baddow High School for September 2025 entrance. Tours have now finished for entrance in the September 2025 academic year

General Information

It is the responsibility of parents to make an application for their child’s secondary school place via the Essex County Council application process. It is not necessary to wait to receive an application form or a letter before you apply.
Sport Selection Scheme
The Sports Selection Scheme is for students who do not meet criteria 1,2, 3 or 4 in our admission policy.
If your child does not have a sibling already at Great Baddow High School, you do not live or attend a school within our priority admission area, or attend Barnes Farm, Chancellor Park and St. Andrew’s Hatfield Peverel, you can apply for admission through the Sports Selection Scheme.
Up to 10% of Year 7 students will be selected for places at Great Baddow High School on the basis of aptitude for sport.
