Are you passionate about your subject and how to engage young people so they achieve their very best? Do you enjoy working with others to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning in History?
We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to join our highly committed, supportive and experienced History Department. This post is suitable for experienced practitioners and those new to the profession. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across the age and attainment range, including A level.
Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff.
Our History Department is well resourced, and you will have access to a range of exciting activities and trips. The successful candidate will want to bring their passion and enthusiasm for History to encourage, motivate and engage our students and continue to raise standards in this high performing department. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.
Great Baddow High School is very well thought of locally. Our motto, which translates as ‘always striving for higher things’ encapsulates our vision for our students and staff. Our oversubscribed school achieved a ‘GOOD’ rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022. We are committed to supporting students to reach their academic potential and to develop into well-rounded members of society.
