Congratulations to Beehive Lane Primary School on winning our 'Masterminds' Competition
Back to Latest NewsToday we held the first ‘Masterminds‘ competition for some of our local primary schools; Beehive Lane Community Primary School, Larkrise Primary School, Meadgate Primary School, St. Andrews Junior School and St. Michaels Junior School.
The teams were given seven rounds of questions including General Knowledge, In The News and a Practical Observation round. Schools were also asked to choose a ‘Specialist Book Knowledge’ round where they chose a book they had read in class and were asked questions on the book.
Students also loved the ‘Teacher Under Pressure’ round where their class teacher had to answer questions to score extra points for their team.
The schools all had a wonderful morning but only one school could win and this year it was Beehive, a huge congratulations to Beehive on a well-deserved win.
Well done to all the teams who have taken part, everyone was amazing and the scores were very close. We look forward to seeing the schools again for our ‘Spellcasters’ and ‘Chatterbooks’ events coming up next year.
