Last weekend, 39 of our Year 10 students completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award Expedition. Despite the extremely hot weather, the groups walked around the Roxwell countryside fully self-sufficient. They navigated pre-planned routes whilst carrying their tents, food and water, cooking equipment, clothes, and personal kit. The students were a real credit to our school and have developed incredible team skills during the award.

Over 50% of students have completed the Award in it’s entirety (this includes their Volunteering, Physical Development and Skill Development that they have been doing since November) and more are soon to finish.

We are very proud of the students and the Duke of Edinburgh staff team would like to share a massive congratulations with them!
