On Friday 8^th March, four teams travelled to Stoke on Trent to compete in the Milano Gymnastics Schools National Finals. We had four teams competing, U13 Mixed, U16 Mixed, U19 Mixed and U19 Girls. In this high level competition teams must perform an individual floor piece, 2 vaults and a group trio routine.

All teams performed brilliantly and put everything they could into their pieces at this prestigious competition.

On Friday, the U13 and U16 Mixed teams competed, and all scored well. The U16 mixed team were part of coming 3^rd in the country as an East Region. The U13 mixed team placed 2^nd Region in the country in their category and were also part of the East Region team and came 3^rd in the country as a whole region.

On the Saturday, the U19 Mixed and U19 girls teams were ready to compete, and all students showed outstanding performances with some extremely high scores from Layla on vault of 15.45. The U19 Girls team placed 3^rd Region in the country in their category and were also part of the East Region team and came 2^nd in the country as a whole region. The U19 Mixed also performed excellently and were also part of the East Region team and came 2^nd in the country as an East Region.

Overall, a hugely successful weekend and a massive congratulations to all 4 teams who competed at the National Finals with all teams bringing home a medal either as a team or region.
