Important Information for Parents

Monday 3rd of March is National Offer Day for Secondary school placements. You will be notified by your local authority which school your child has been allocated. We appreciate that this can be a very anxious time for children and their parents, particularly if you do not receive your first-choice school. We would therefore like to draw your attention to the following information:

If you have been offered a place at GBHS - we will be writing to you in the coming days to confirm the offer. At this stage all you are required to do is complete and return the tear off slip to confirm your place.

If you have not received an offer of a place at GBHS - you will automatically be added to the waiting list if GBHS was ranked higher on your application than the school you have been allocated. Waiting lists positions will be made available from the 24th March 2025 and until that time we will be unable to provide information on your waiting list ranking.
