Congratulations to all our students for their amazing achievements in gaining their GCSE examination results today.

Students have defied the odds and stepped up to the challenges of the last two years, their resilience, commitment and efforts have been rewarded. Their results are well deserved, and we are incredibly proud of them and are delighted that they now have the qualifications to follow further pathways to successful futures.

Students achieved a higher proportion of top grades (Level 9 or Level 8) than in each of the previous two years and significantly outperformed our outcomes from 2019.

Top performing students for attainment included: -

Matthew J - achieved 8 grade 9s and 1 grade 8

Katie C - achieved 7 grade 9s and 1 grade 7

Grace D – achieved 5 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s

Katie W - achieved 5 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s

Daisy H – achieved 5 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s

We are once again delighted to report that that outcomes across all core subjects were a particular strength and it is pleasing to see the success of the broad curriculum offered to our students that allows them to select their pathway to success.

As a result of the high number of students gaining fantastic results, we have offered a record number of places to students in our Sixth Form this year. Students will be able to select from a wide range of A Level and vocational courses; we are pleased to have introduced criminology in 2021 and this year add government and politics to our offer.

We would like to congratulate all of our students on their results. We are proud not just of their academic achievements but how they have grown as individuals. They have been outstanding role models for our school community, and we wish them every success for the future.
